Before going into this album, I’m going to address a question that many are probably asking themselves. So, who is Amine? Amine (uh-MEEN-ay) is a 23-year-old rapper from Portland, OR… I know, random huh. I do not have the full backstory on him but those are the basics that I do know about him. He began releasing music in 2014 with his debut mixtape Odyssey to Me, another mixtape in 2015 titled Calling Brio and then his debut single “Caroline”, released in 2016. “Caroline” went on to peak at number 11 on the Billboard Hot 100 Chart and the song also reached triple-platinum status. The first album I decided to review was released on January 13, 2015. It is an album that I highly anticipated prior to its release and have enjoyed since its debut. That album is Reality Show by Jazmine Sullivan.
